Description Of Limestone
The main component of limestone is calcium carbonate (CaCO3) with a Mohs hardness of 3. After being mined from limestone, limestone is crushed to form limestone particles, that is, stone material, sand, or further ground to form limestone powder, which is widely used in construction materials, highways, metallurgy, chemical industry and other industries. Lime has quick lime and slaked lime. After calcination, limestone becomes calcium oxide CaO (commonly known as quicklime), generally in the form of blocks, used in water quality treatment, asphalt improvement, desulfurization, building materials, medicine and other industries. Quicklime becomes slaked lime by absorbing moisture or adding water. The main component is calcium hydroxide Ca(OH)2, which is used in environmental protection, medicine, food and other industries.

Limestone Crushing Process
The main equipment for limestone crushing is vibrating feeder, jaw crusher, impact crusher, vibrating screening, etc.; the main processing flow is as follows: the large limestone materials in silo are evenly fed by the vibrating feeder transported to jaw crusher for coarse crushing, and the coarsely crushed materials are conveyed by the belt conveyor to the impact crusher; after the coarsely crushed materials are crushed by the impact crusher, then sieved by a circular vibrating screen. After sieving, the bigger size material is returned to the impact crusher and crushed again, and qualified materials are transported to the finished product stacking area through the finished product conveyor belt.
